For every stage of your child’s development – from 4 months to 12 years – The Little Gym offers a diverse line up of classes filled with movement, music, learning and laughter. Your little ones will make friends, reach developmental milestones and build self confidence while having Serious Fun.
Stretch, tumble, run and jump. In these classes, mums and dads join in the fun, as they explore the early social and skill development of their children. We use music, gymnastics, games, parachute activities, ball play, exploration and bubbles to guarantee a FUN packed class.
In our Pre-K programme, children start spreading their wings and participate solo, whilst parents look on from the lobby. Basic gymnastic skills and games progressively build confidence and self-esteem, as well as encourage social skills and group cooperation.
Tumbling, vaulting, bar and beam techniques are taught in beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. Children’s skills and confidence flourish. Unlike some gymnastics programmes, children don’t have to be the best, we just encourage them to enjoy trying their best.
During the school holidays, rain or shine, The Little Gym camps combine fun, sport, creative activities and learning to keep your kids active, entertained and laughing. All while carefully developing their minds, bodies and self-confidence. Children love them!
At The Little Gym Birthday Party, your child and their friends will have the whole place to themselves for a magic time of gymnastic based games, music and fun activities created especially for them. Plus The Little Gym team will handle everything from set-up to clean-up. It’s no surprise that many parents tell us a Birthday Party at The Little Gym is a big wish come true for them too!
An innovative educator and kinesiologist, Robin Wes envisioned a nurturing place where children could explore their physical development while also growing socially, emotionally and intellectually. He opened the first The Little Gym in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington and more than forty years later, children in more than 400 locations worldwide attend The Little Gym. After opening the first UK gym in 2002 there are now 12 units across the UK with over 6000 kids attending class weekly.
